- Global Renewables is an operating alternative waste treatment plant, located approximately 40km west of Sydney, which processes approximately 10-15% of Sydney’s household waste
- The plant processes approximately 220,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste each year under a long-term waste supply agreement.
- It aims to maximise the recovery of recyclable and organic materials, reducing the amount of subsequent waste disposed of at landfill
