Changes to Palisade’s Board and Investment Committee

30 October 2018.

We are pleased to announce that Mark Vaile and John Hughes have recently been appointed as Non-Executive Directors to the Board of Palisade Investment Partners.

Many of you will be aware that Mark and John have a long-standing relationship with Palisade. Mark has been involved with Palisade since its inception and has contributed to the business through his roles on the Palisade Advisory Board and Chair of the Investor Advisory Group for Palisade’s Diversified Infrastructure Fund, whilst John’s relationship with Palisade spans almost five years, primarily through Palisade’s Investment Committee, where he was appointed as an independent member in 2014.

Ian Mitchell has retired from the Palisade Board as he looks to scale back his business duties. As Palisade’s founding Director and former Managing Director, Ian has been influential in the growth of the Palisade business over the past 10 years. Ian will remain as Chair of Palisade’s Investment Committee.

We are also pleased to report that Kirri Stone has joined Palisade’s Investment Committee as an independent member. Kirri is currently Director, Investment Management, at WestConnex, Sydney’s largest road transport project. Kirri’s prior experience includes seven years at CIMIC Group (formerly Leighton Holdings), where she was involved in the acquisition and management of businesses across the road, services and social infrastructure sectors, and over 15 years with Macquarie Bank and Bankers Trust advising on various infrastructure projects.

David Howell will be resigning from the investment committee at the end of the year. As one of the original members of the investment committee, his contribution to the business has been immeasurable, and we thank David immensely for his service to Palisade over the last decade.

Needless to say, as an organisation, we are extremely excited about the above appointments and the benefits they will bring as a whole to the business and our investors.
