Susan Shehata

Susan is an independent member of the Palisade Investment Committee.

Susan is an experienced non-executive director and senior infrastructure advisor, with a career over 28 years in the transport, energy, digital, social infrastructure, and oil and gas sectors. Her experience spans equity investment, advisory and financing, across UK, Europe, MENA, APAC and the Americas.

Prior to her non-executive career, Susan was Global Co-Head of Infrastructure and Real Estate Finance at HSBC, leading a global team across the bank’s infrastructure finance and debt advisory operations including acquisition finance, project finance, and structured bonds as well as innovative funding structures ranging from $100 million to $20 billion. Before HSBC, Susan worked for Macquarie Group Infrastructure, and prior to that, was part of the Privatisation team for the Commonwealth Government of Australia.

Susan is on the board of JeraNex, a global renewable developer, as well as on the board of Lincolnshire Housing Partnership, a social housing provider in the UK.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Finance) from the University of Sydney.
