Sam has responsibility for all operational and engineering aspects of Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, a 511MW wind energy facility in Western Victoria. As Operations Manager, Sam is responsible for ensuring that the approach to stakeholder engagement, engineering, change management and operations is fit for purpose and that SHWF is delivering on its business objectives.
With 7 years’ experience across construction, commissioning and operations management, Sam has provided engineering and project management support to over 1GW of renewables projects and worked with 5 major inverter & WTG OEMs across the NEM. As an electrical engineer with a focus on stakeholder management, Sam has the advantage of being able to combine his first-hand technical knowledge and understanding of complex topics with his communication skills to ensure that stakeholders are properly informed, and project compliance is upheld to the highest standards. Throughout his years involved in various technical and management roles, Sam has developed sound business acumen and an understanding of the commercial aspects influencing project outcomes.
Sam has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Honours).
