Mike led the establishment of Palisade Infrastructure’s North American platform in 2021, and oversees its investment strategy, sourcing investment opportunities and asset management. He led the acquisition of PureSky Energy and the establishment of the Lightcurve fiber platform in Washington state, and sits on the board of directors of both businesses.

Mike has been with the Palisade Group for over 7 years, and prior to establishing the North American strategy, was an Executive Director in the firm’s Australian business. He was responsible for a number of investments including the successful Hawaiki Submarine Cable investment (since realized) and Sunshine Coast Airport, and held a number of board roles.

Prior to joining Palisade, Mike spent three years as an Investment Director of CP2 Limited, a global infrastructure firm where he managed a team of investment professionals and was responsible for sourcing, execution and asset management of infrastructure investments in the transport and energy sectors.

Prior to his investing roles, Mike spent 10 years in corporate advisory and investment banking in the UK and Australia, holding roles at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital and ABN AMRO where he led execution of numerous M&A and capital market transactions principally in the renewable energy and utilities sectors.

Mike is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
