Matt is General Manager of Development at Intera Renewables, responsible for managing a portfolio of development assets from early concept stage through final investment decision and into construction. He is also responsible for development phase investment due diligence.

Matt has over seven years’ experience developing renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery energy storage systems) with a focus on environmental approvals, stakeholder consultation, landowner liaison and contract negotiation.

Prior to joining Intera Renewables in 2024, Matt held various project development roles during a seven year period at Squadron Energy (formerly CWP Renewables). Matt’s previous roles include being involved in the environmental assessment and approvals process for 12 years as a biodiversity consultant assessing the impacts of infrastructure projects in a wide range of industries across a diverse range of Australian environments.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and a Masters of Science (Honours).
