Mark leads origination for Palisade Real Assets, where he heads M&A activity – origination, execution and integration – and manages the deal pipeline for the firm’s UK and European biogas platforms under the BioticNRG fund vehicles. He works closely alongside PRA’s CEO and Head of Investments to drive the platform’s investment strategy and build-out.

Mark brings over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance and infrastructure equity, with transaction and asset-management exposure across the energy transition, digital infrastructure, transport, social care and the circular economy in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

Before joining Palisade, Mark was Head of Transaction Origination for Columbia Threadneedle‘s European Sustainable Infrastructure Fund, a pan-European infrastructure equity mandate. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at AMP Capital and executed transactions across multiple sectors and geographies. Mark began his career in investment banking at HSBC before moving to Macquarie Capital, where he focused on transport infrastructure.

Mark holds an MSc in Economics & Finance from Warwick Business School and a First-class BSc in Economics & Finance from University College Dublin.
